Eric Koretz is a Los Angeles based cinematographer whose body of work has a unique connectedness to its subjects, and a magical realism that resonates with the audience. He holds an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute as well as an undergraduate degree in Communications Design from Syracuse University. He was awarded Best Cinematography at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival for the documentary DRAGONSLAYER, directed by Tristan Paterson and executive produced by Christine Vachon. 

Eric’s narrative work includes COMET (dir. Sam Esmail, 2014) starring Emmy Rossum and Justin Long and two Sundance Film Festival films: FRANK & LOLA (dir. Matthew Ross, 2016) starring Michael Shannon, Imogen Poots, and Justin Long and THE LAST WORD (dir. Mark Pellington, 2017) starring Shirley MacLaine and Amanda Seyfried. His most recent project, SIBERIA (also directed by Ross), stars Keanu Reeves, Ana Ularu, Pasha Lychnikoff & Molly Ringwald. His long form series work includes THE TRIVIAL PURSUITS OF ARTHUR BANKS for the AMC television network. In his years working in commercials he was shot for such clients as Audi, Microsoft, Nike, Footlocker, BMW, Apple to name a few.   

Eric originally hails from Boston, Massachusetts. He is represented by Innovative Artists and is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild.
